“Who wants to sit still forever? We are human, and we need to be able to move to concentrate.” Out of this reflection, the design duo crafted the Mikado Chair - a simple, elegant design that achieves comfort through movement. Its dynamic backrest, controlled by a smart mechanism concealed beneath the seat, allows you to comfortably recline and relax at a slight angle when the body calls for it.
From the ground up this swivel chair was designed with flexibility and sustainability in mind, with much of its frame composed of recycled materials. Components can be replaced or exchanged for a different material and upholstery can be removed for cleaning or replacement. Whether used for workspaces, home dining or restaurants, the Mikado promises a relaxed seating experience for hours ensuring quality time with those who matter most.
