A reimagining of the humble table lamp in transparent glass and methacrylate, the Fragile Table Lamp uses a mix of geometric shapes to create an effortlessly beautiful contemporary design. Cones, spheres and cylinders blend together to create a streamlined, minimalist form, which is reminiscent of classic table lamp designs.
Older forms of illumination also lend inspiration, from oil lamps to candles, all captured in delicate blown glass. Jaume Ramirez has captured the fragility of the present moment in his design, making it an expressive and sculptural addition to any living space.
Spanish designer Jaume Ramirez set up his own studio in Barcelona in 2019 and works with many well-established brands such as Escofet, Parklex, Normann Copenhagen, Arcos, Mobles 114 and Marset.
His first design, the Delica tray collection, earned him the prestigious Delta de Oro, Red Dot Design and Design Plus awards.
