Story

A relatively simplistic design boasting quality and industrial aesthetics, the Zenc Pendant Light takes inspiration from the water tanks on New York rooftops. Reminiscent of a circular house, the wide shade diameter surrounds the light source with a white interior layer, encouraging a captivating glow. The texturised exterior mirrors the zinc metal texture of the water tanks through the use of rotomoulded bi-layer polyethene, with the option of several contrasting colourways to suit a range of interior styles.

Joan Gaspar

Born in 1966, Spanish designer Joan Gaspar studied Industrial Design at the School of Arts and Crafts of Barcelona.

The partnership between Gaspar and Spanish lighting brand Marset began in 1996, and since then, he has been developing new products for decades and steering the creative direction of the design firm in new directions.
