Defined by a versatile use of geometric shapes, the striking frame and supportive shells show the beauty and versatility of working with solid wood and veneer in design. Crafted for the modern home, the armchair provides relaxing comfort; whether used to eat, study or to sit back and take a break from busy everyday life. With an added seat cushion to create that extra layer of luxury, the seat is stunning from every angle, creating an atmosphere of warmth, strength and expert craftsmanship.
Behind the Nendo trademark is Oki Sato, the Japanese designer born in Canada in 1977. Sato graduated in 2000 from Tokyo's Waseda University and went on to specialise in Architecture (2002). While still a student, in 2002, he won the Gold Medal at the Koizumi International Lighting Design show, in addition to many other awards.
