Designers Studio Toer and Moooi come together for the Flock Of Light 31 Suspension Light, which offers a brilliant new take on sculptural ceiling lighting.
Bold and unique, the Moooi Flock Of Light 31 Suspension Light features thirty-one individual light sources, resulting in a light which is at once both intimate and a highly stylish statement piece. Drawing upon their experience as a multi-disciplinary design house, the roots of the Flock Of Light can be found in Studio Toer's impressive art installation pieces. A real sense of creativity is brought into the home, for a piece that, in the words of Moooi, offers "modern design for anybody who inspires to live an extraordinary life". With roots in nature; the Flock Of Light 31 brings to mind the sight of a swarm of fireflies, themes of freedom and play are carried through the finished object.
