Made from a single profile rotated through 360 degrees the aptly named Spun rotating chair transforms the domestic seat into a beautifully rendered spinning top. When upright, the chair is a sculptural vessel, a dramatic piece of contemporary art from designer Thomas Heatherwick. Tipping it to one side allows you to take advantage of the unconventional shape to rock in any direction, indulging in a fun and playful side that characterises both Heatherwick and Magis’ work.
