Made from a single profile rotated through 360 degrees the aptly named ‘Spun’ transforms the domestic seat into a beautifully rendered spinning top. When upright Spun is a sculptural vessel and when lent on its side Spun allows its user to swivel in a circular rocking motion, including being able to rotate in a complete circle.
The Magis Spun Chair is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Award-winning British designer Thomas Heatherwick founded Heatherwick Studio in 1994 with the aim of creating unique design projects. Heatherwick's team of designers, architects and makers work in a combined studio and workshop in central London's King’s Cross. The Heatherwick Studio’s projects range from bridges and buildings to contemporary furniture and large-scale works of public art.
Amongst Heatherwick's most successful 'small-scale' projects is the now iconic Spun Chair for Italian furniture brand Magis. This rotating lounge chair came out of research into geometric simplification and experimentation into materials and processes.
