GamFratesi took inspiration from the namesake of the chair; by studying the anatomy and movement of the beetle the designers created a unique curved shape for the chair’s shell. A highly contemporary dining chair, the beautifully curvaceous shell creates a comfortable, relaxing seat space, ideal for sitting for long periods of time. The chair is perfectly suited to a contemporary dining area, with subtle, pastel tones allowing you to choose a colour that is perfectly suited to your existing aesthetic.
GamFratesi Studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. The studio is based in Copenhagen, though Gam and Fratesi are continuously traveling between Italy and Denmark for development and research of new projects.
Gamfratesi won the Young Designer Talent of the Year at the Elle Decoration International Design Awards 2013.
