The Plan Dining Chair is defined by a utilitarian tubular steel frame, combined and contrasted with a luxuriously upholstered leather seat. Designers Barber and Osgerby place industrial design principles at the heart of their work, focusing on the materiality and durability of the piece. The chair’s seat features a subtly curved back, for optimum support and comfort, whilst the use of high-quality leather adds to a sophisticated aesthetic. Perfectly at home around in a dining room or kitchen, the Plan Chair’s considered design will undoubtedly stand the test of time.
Edward Barber studied Interior Design at Leeds Polytechnic and in 1992 moved to London to study Architecture and Interiors at the Royal College of Art.
