Drawn from Erwan Bouroullec’s fascination with geometry, expansive light sources and the primal human act of making, this extraordinary Maap W3 Wall Light transforms installation into part of the creative process. Spanning just over three metres wide, its featherlight Tyvek diffuser is shaped entirely by hand, creating an ever-changing composition with each fold and contour revealing a play of light and shadow inspired by the raw beauty of the natural world. A bold yet ethereal presence, the piece turns any wall into a luminous landscape.
Beneath its sculptural fibre shell, twelve LED light sources cast a soft, immersive glow that gently fills the room. Three magnetic Dots secure the hand-crumpled diffuser to its metal framework, allowing it to be endlessly reshaped - encouraging an intuitive, hands-on interaction with light. Whether making a statement in a hallway, living area, or feature wall in a hospitality setting, the Maap W3 offers a truly individual expression that evolves with your creative instincts.
Combine with the Flos Maap W1 or Maap W2 for an even larger, more dramatic lighting composition.
