Carl Hansen & Son launched the full heritage Colonial Series in 2015, a series with an elegant aesthetic and defined by an exquisite frame of simple interlocking lines; embodying the depth and strength of the solid wood. The delicate curvature of the rear legs and prominent armrests promote a unique character, and offer considered support. The high backrest of horizontal panels accommodate the upholstered back cushions, with a hand-woven cane seat integrated into its broad stature. The OW149-2 Colonial Two Seater Sofa is upholstered in Kvadrat Re-wool fabric, a rich upholstery textile with a sustainable profile. The fabric designed by Margrethe Odgaard is crafted using 45% recycled wool, made by repurposing materials from Kvadrat’s yarn spinners in the UK and is available in a variety of attractive colour ways to allow you to choose the ideal shade for you. These perfectly compliment the natural frame available in a choice of soaped or oiled oak. The Colonial Two Seater Sofa is also available in sumptuous leather upholstery.
