Materials & finishes
Extruded aluminium upright bracket with die-cast aluminium top supports and feet. Laser-cut and bent sheet steel shelves, or wooden shelves made from MDF board and water-based lacquered oak or walnut veneer. Made using FSC® certified wood, supporting responsible management of the world’s forests. Plastic gliders. Maximum 15kg load per shelf. Assembly required.

We offer the following UK delivery options:

Standard Delivery
Small/medium, non-fragile items are delivered by DPD. DPD deliveries are trackable at every stage and will be delivered to your door between Monday and Friday.

Large items, fragile small/medium items under 20kg in weight that require extra protection on delivery will be delivered by our trusted delivery partners Atlas of London or Smart Van. They will contact you to arrange a suitable time (between Monday and Friday) to deliver your order (curbside delivery only).

White-glove delivery
‘White-glove delivery’ is our recommended service for all large items that require assembly and packaging removal.

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you, if required all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Installation is not available for lighting products or wall-mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

&Tradition provides a five-year warranty with every Rombe system. This warranty covers any faults present at the time of purchase, or those that may have occurred as a result of a manufacturing defect. The warranty is valid from the date stated on the original invoice.

Story

The Rombe reimagines everyday storage with a nod to classic shelving structure and modular innovation. Designed with careful consideration for how our spaces - and the way we live in them - are constantly evolving, the system allows you to reposition shelves along its upright brackets to create a configuration that’s just right for you.

Perfect for living rooms or studios, the system offers cable-friendly spacing behind the shelves for a clean, uncluttered look. Adjustable feet ensure stability on uneven floors, and with modularity at its core, the storage unit can be extended laterally with additional bay setups. A choice of shelving finishes in power-coated steel, lacquered oak or walnut veneer makes the Rombe a versatile fit for both classic and contemporary interiors.

Also available with a desk configuration - the IF2 Rombe.

Industrial Facility

Industrial Facility is a design office formed by designer Sam Hecht and architect Kim Colin in 2002. The studio follows a rigorous path of investigation and analysis in its work. Its belief is in the importance of design as a means of simplifying our lives in an inspirational way.
