In collaboration with the opening of the recently renovated National Museum of Stockholm, TAF Studio and String Furniture were appointed to design a console shelf for the artistic collaboration NM&. Constructed from fine-texture coated aluminium, and available in a range of muted colourways, the String Museum Shelf’s industrial aesthetic can adapt to a variety of environments, adding a touch of style to your wall space.
An extremely functional and versatile shelf, it can be used alone or in a group for display purposes, storage or even for use as a bedside table. Also available, is the String Museum Side Table.
TAF is a Stockholm based design and architecture studio founded by Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom. Creating products of extraordinary quality with a focus on the everyday, TAF Studio is preoccupied by context and origin, using materials and construction techniques in new and innovative ways to create designs that are both playful and thought provoking.
Since its foundation in 2002, TAF Studio has achieved international acclaim. The studio has been exhibited at MoMA in New York and its designs are now part of the permanent collections of the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and the Danish Design Museum in Copenhagen.
