Made from solid oak and finished in natural varnish, the Plane maintains the illusion of finely balanced plinths, resulting in a piece which sits at the crossroads of a functional coffee table and sculptural centrepiece.
A masterpiece of engineering allows for the materials themselves to breathe, with the final object a real celebration of the natural qualities of the timber employed in its production.

New Zealand-born Jamie McLellan spent early part of his design career working in Italy, Hong Kong and Hawaii, before ending up in London working with internationally acclaimed designer Tom Dixon.
Jamie then returned home to set up his own product and furniture design consultancy based in Auckland, New Zealand. His clients included established global brands such as Cathay Pacific, Neil Pryde and Tom Dixon, along with innovative start-ups like Bodha, Resident, and Allbirds, which he ultimately joined as the brand’s first Head of Design.
