Conceived in 1952 to pair with the effortlessly sculptural PK0 A™ Lounge Chair, the PK60™ stands the test of time as a striking piece of mid-century Danish design.
Poul Kjaerholm’s innate understanding of materials and form is showcased in the table’s plunging curves. The glass top is instantly reminiscent of Isamu Noguchi’s iconic table, where the glass allows the viewer to see the stunning shape of the table’s moulded frame. Making the perfect centrepiece for any contemporary living space, the Fritz Hansen PK60™ provides the opportunity to add a design classic to your home.
Poul Kjaerholm was a trained carpenter and continued his studies at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts. He had a particular interest in different construction materials; especially steel which he considered a natural material with the same artistic fineness as other natural materials.
