Drawing inspiration from the playful, organic form of the pumpkin for the PePo pendant’s rounded silhouette, Nina Bruun has created an appealing and unusual design, rendered in mouth-blown glass by the talented artisans at Made by Hand.
While retaining the functionality of a traditional pendant light, the PePo puts an innovative twist on the classic form and embraces dynamic, wave-like forms that tend not to be referenced in glass lamps. The glass stem adds another whimsical touch, further calling to mind autumnal vegetables.
Danish designer and consultant Nina Bruun has carved out a niche on the Nordic design scene as a leading source on interior trends, colour knowledge and design forecasting.
Bruun has received multiple awards including a Red Dot Design Award and has worked with well-known brands such as MENU and Paper Collective, her work is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.
