Drawing on Stefan Scholten’s instinct for merging practicality with bold expression, the Facet Cabinet 30 turns storage into a graphic design statement. Its faceted geometry and glossy finish are developed through an atelier-based process, while post-consumer recycled plastic underlines a considered, contemporary material choice.
Behind three equal revolving doors, everyday items are concealed with ease. Discreet castors - replaceable with feet - allow it to move or settle as required. Placed beside a sofa, bed or desk, the Facet delivers versatile organisation with character, bringing clarity, colour and confident modern presence to your rooms.
A defining voice in the Dutch design community, Stefan Scholten’s career began after he graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 1995. His characteristic reductionist style is enhanced by a clever and playful use of colour. His hands-on design process involves sketching, drawing and mixing until something new and original is created.
Scholten has worked with various international brands, including HAY, Maharam, Moroso, Cappellini and nanimarquina as a member of the design studio Scholten & Baijings.
