Rooted in Scholten’s reductionist philosophy and instinct for expressive colour, the Facet Cabinet translates geometric clarity into a compact, stylish statement. Its faceted surface is crafted from post-consumer recycled plastic, merging responsible material choices with a contemporary aesthetic that feels both playful and precise.
Two revolving doors discreetly conceal daily essentials, while castors - interchangeable with feet - offer effortless flexibility. Positioned beside a bed, sofa or workspace, the Facet Cabinet 20 keeps spaces clutter-free, delivering storage that feels dynamic, design-led and distinctly modern.
A defining voice in the Dutch design community, Stefan Scholten’s career began after he graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 1995. His characteristic reductionist style is enhanced by a clever and playful use of colour. His hands-on design process involves sketching, drawing and mixing until something new and original is created.
Scholten has worked with various international brands, including HAY, Maharam, Moroso, Cappellini and nanimarquina as a member of the design studio Scholten & Baijings.
