Combining functionality, a contemporary aesthetic, and sustainability, the HAY About a Chair AAC 222’s shell is moulded from 100% recycled post-consumer plastic, derived from household waste such as washing machines and TVs. Plastics are crushed, sorted, cleaned and remoulded to create the chair’s signature curved shell. A deep seat, comforting high back, and low armrests are paired with a characterful tapered wooden base into one considered piece. Available in several fresh, muted colourways the AAC 222 will remain a timeless seating solution for years to come, no matter how your interior tastes change.
