Available here with an stunning antique brass plated base and a plastic shell seat in a variety of subtle colours, GamFratesi took inspiration from the chairs namesake, the humble beetle. By studying the anatomy and movement of these small creatures, the duo created a unique curved shape for the chairs shell. Ideal for placing in a contemporary dining area, the pastel tones allow for you to choose a colour that is perfectly suited to your existing aesthetic, with the antique brass base lending the chair an air of subtle glamour.
GamFratesi Studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. The studio is based in Copenhagen, though Gam and Fratesi are continuously traveling between Italy and Denmark for development and research of new projects.
Gamfratesi won the Young Designer Talent of the Year at the Elle Decoration International Design Awards 2013.
