Defined by a circular base with a functional high handle that allows for ease of movement, the tray is perfect for transporting food and drinks from room to room, or for holding a collection of decorative accessories such as candles and petite vases. Finished in a contemporary grey, the tray can coordinate with an array of living spaces, providing a simple yet sculptural surface area to hold personal belongings and household items.
Spanish artist and industrial designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974.
In 1997, he began working as a researcher at Fabrica, Benetton Group’s communication and research centre in Treviso, Italy. 2004 saw the start of Hayon’s individual career and he has kept himself busy with a spectrum of eclectic projects. From toys, to modern furniture and interior design as well as artistic installations, his boldness has been to transcend the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, comfortably bridging the two whilst embedding them with his own unique style.
