Named after the Italian word for ‘grandmother’, the Nonna was designed to capture a sense of timelessness and familiarity, reminiscent of cherished moments in comforting, homely settings. Softly illuminating with a welcoming glow through its textured, sand-coloured textile shade, the table lamp complements a range of interiors, from classic to contemporary.
The Nonna’s slim profile allows it to sit comfortably in narrow spaces such as shelving, sideboards or windowsills - its strong silhouette and contrasting materials offer a quiet sophistication and presence that uplifts any living room or cosy retreat.
Founded in 2016 by Mads Sætter-Lassen and Emil Krøyer, having met at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, the design duo specialise in creating honest, highly functional designs.
