Expanding a long-standing collaboration, American designer and stylist Colin King makes his first furniture statement for Audo with the Crescent Shelving - a study in sculptural balance. Its crescent profile, straight at the front and softly curved behind, reflects a desire to create a piece with presence: furniture designed not for the wall, but to inhabit the room. Crafted in lacquered oak veneer, rounded edges and fluid contours temper its architectural strength.
Open from every angle, the Crescent Shelving - High functions as shelving, storage or a graceful room divider. Available in two heights and equipped with adjustable feet for exact levelling, this taller version structures space while allowing light and movement to pass freely, bringing rhythm, warmth and a refined sense of flow to modern interiors.
Also available from Audo Copenhagen: the Crescent Shelving - Low.
With a background in contemporary dance and interior design, Colin King brings a dancer’s awareness of stillness to his pieces.
His work exhibits exacting attention to detail and an unparalleled sense of spatial awareness. King breathes new life into the forgotten corners of our homes, transforming them into perfect moments worthy of attention. Colin King has worked with a wide variety of brands, from HAY and Audo Copenhagen to Anthropologie and Zara Home.
