Created for Copenhagen’s lofty Italian Restaurant AMBRA, the Bella Chandelier was conceived to soften expansive architecture with warmth and lightness. Its four-leaf-clover-inspired silhouette and curved shades draw on the gentle presence of Japanese paper lanterns, while the name reflects the convivial spirit of Italian living, cuisine and togetherness.
At 75cm high and a maximum cord length of three metres, Bella brings a striking presence to larger rooms, lofty foyers and hospitality settings, or can be combined with the smaller SC114 Bella for a more creative lighting arrangement. A bronze-painted aluminium frame supports tactile rPET canvas shades made from recycled plastic bottles, casting a welcoming glow that lets you enjoy the chandelier as an elegant focal point, whether illuminated or unlit.
Space Copenhagen was founded in 2005 by designers Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou.
The studios work covers multiple disciplines from furniture, lighting and refined objects, to art installations, art direction and interior design for private homes, hotels and restaurants all over the world.
