Crafted initially as a bespoke creation for the designer’s private residence, &Tradition now introduces its refined, modern silhouette to a broader range of home environments. With delicately contoured edges and joint details, it strikes a sophisticated balance between form and function.
Presented in an array of sizes and colourways - including a premium oak variant made from ethically sourced timber - it’s a versatile piece that blends effortlessly into your existing décor. Ideal for placing ambient lighting or display pieces, it also provides generous storage for everyday essentials, crockery and cherished keepsakes.
Spanish artist and industrial designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974.
In 1997, he began working as a researcher at Fabrica, Benetton Group’s communication and research centre in Treviso, Italy. 2004 saw the start of Hayon’s individual career and he has kept himself busy with a spectrum of eclectic projects. From toys, to modern furniture and interior design as well as artistic installations, his boldness has been to transcend the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, comfortably bridging the two whilst embedding them with his own unique style.
