Reminiscent of furniture found in public transport hubs and passenger lounges, the Meantime Sofa is characterised by its sleek, airy design, reimagining quotidian objects from the public realm for domestic environments. Its slender structure comprises a slanted backrest that runs parallel to the outward-reaching armrests - the defining feature of the Meantime collection.
Cast aluminium legs, lightweight yet highly durable, complement the piece’s considered proportions and light aesthetic, while plush cushioning and premium upholstery enhance its cosy, comfortable feel. Part of &Tradtion’s Meantime lounge series, the sofa is best placed in contemporary living rooms or executive lobby spaces.
Anderssen & Voll are two-thirds of the former Norway Says design collective and are among the most prominent and successful contemporary Norwegian designers.
