Inspired by the expansive, heather-strewn landscapes of the designers’ home regions, The AP19 Moor Rug series channels a quiet connection to nature. This latest rendition introduces hand-finished cotton fringing that heightens tactility and human touch. As All The Way To Paris note, its purpose is “to gather a room together both emotionally and aesthetically” and “create a feeling of closeness and to somehow ‘ground’ the room”.
Handwoven by artisans in Bikaner, India, each rug embodies an opulent, velvet-like expression with a discrete sheen and a relaxed cotton fringe that feels informal yet refined. In living spaces or bedrooms, the floor rug brings warmth, comfort and a gentle grounding presence that invites you to wind down and linger.
All The Way To Paris (ATWTP) was started by Tanja Vibe and Petra Olsson Gendtas as a graphic design duo in 2004.
It has since evolved into an award-winning studio exploring a broad spectrum of projects within visual communications. From graphic identities, digital designs, illustrations, art and museum catalogues, exhibition graphics and books to rugs, fabrics, intriguing design objects and interiors.
