The Petite Potence is a swivelling wall light originally designed for the Tropique house and is considered one of Jean Prouvé’s purist masterpieces. The sparseness of material and formal elements create the allure of this lamp, metal tubes and a wall mounting bracket painted black and fitted with a dimmer cord. A long overarching arm allows the light to illuminate the middle of a dining table or a side table in the living room, performing the function of a pendant light but in a different, distinctive form.
