Story

The Cutter Seat is a highly practical solution for seating in environments such as hallways and cubbyholes. Inspired by classical Nordic no-nonsense virtues, the Cutter seat is easily folded when not in use, making it the ideal rest-stop for the putting on and taking off of shoes and boots.

Niels Hvass

Danish furniture designer Niels Hvass is known for creating designs that prioritise the user experience. He aims to create designs that captivate and inspire.

Born in 1958, Hvass co-founded Strand + Hvass design studio in 1991 with Christina Strand. His most iconic design is the Cutter Collection - a minimalistic, functional and popular choice for almost any home.
