Using the traditional craft of marquetry - carefully applying pieces of walnut in contrasting shades of natural and black, a diamond silhouette is created at the heart of the table. A bold graphical statement, Padovani takes inspiration from her Iranian routes; 'Tavla' being the Iranian word for backgammon. The table explores the patterns of the familiar backgammon board; a simple reimagination of an ancient board game, artistically crafted in the finest materials. Perfect for creating an artistic visual display in your living environment the Tavla Round Wood Table is sure to make an impact, adorn with a floral arrangement or simply let the decorative design take focus. For larger open-plan living spaces the Petite Friture Tavla Extensible Oval Table is also available.
