The Oblong Chair is the best of both worlds; it provides the comfort of a much larger recliner whilst being lighter and more manoeuvrable than a traditional lounge chair. A minimal black powder-coated steel tubed frame provides a solid base, on which two padded discs are attached, creating a fluid form that more resembles the geometric profiles of contemporary art than furniture. The highest quality Kvadrat Brusvik fabric upholsters the chair, adding a luxurious yet durable finish. Despite its overall volume, the chair is able to fill a small space without appearing to crowd it, due to its open base that allows light to pass through.
