Not only providing the utmost comfort, the Normann Copenhagen Studio Armchair is also stackable and easily portable, perfect for storing when not in use and remarkably convenient when entertaining guests. Formed from a slender steel frame that supports an ergonomically shaped Oak seat and back, its geometric profile is full of character, further enhanced by its soft to the touch leather upholstery. Ideally utilised as a stand-alone piece in front of a desk or as part of a set around a dining table, this contemporary seating solution supplements a touch of style and practicality to your home.

“Honesty is what makes a product understandable, and is what describes functionality of the products. If you understand the product, it doesn’t need any explanation. The essence of my design is for it to be bought and used. Therefore it has to satisfy not only the functional aspects, but also the psychological- and aesthetic needs. For me simplicity describes the true identity of objects, and makes them trustworthy. In my designs I try not to add any unnecessary details. I work with simplicity by highlighting the necessities instead of hiding them. It gives the product a simple and honest expression.”
