Rick Tegelaar sought to answer the question of “What distinguishes a lamp from a light source?”, when imagining and creating the artfully flamboyant Moooi Filigree Floor Lamp.
Moooi’s Filigree is a contemporary, adjustable floor lamp designed to distribute soft light across your room. The Filigree’s form appears almost floral in origin, contrasting heavily with the engineering-inspired industrial aesthetic evident in Rick Tegelaar’s designs and philosophy. Tegelaar’s complex design features a network of fine wires, creating a striking geometric pattern reminiscent of filigree jewellery. Also included is a flat power supply with integrated dimmer control, allowing you to choose how brightly you illuminate your space, and to help create a personalised ambience.
