Collaborating with Dennie Ditzel, the daughter of the original designers, Mater has produced a reimagined collection with a strong focus on sustainability. Using recycled fishing nets, beer kegs, and hard plastic, the Ocean Outdoor Bench combines contemporary design with an intentional and innovative design process. Characterised by wide plastic slats supported by a robust metal frame, the bench boasts a simplistic style while offering support and comfort to the user.

Danish designers Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel began their careers in the early 1950s when they designed furniture using innovative materials, without ignoring classic materials.
In 1954 they designed a jewellery line, which won a gold and a silver medal at the Milan Triennale, and was key to their winning the Lunning Prize in 1956.
