Made from a unique composition of waste materials, the Mater Earth Stool with Backrest takes a conscious approach to contemporary furniture design. Supported by a powder-coated metal frame, the seat and backrest mix coffee waste materials with a unique compound suitable for press moulding, a technique developed in collaboration with the Danish Technological Institute with support from the University of Copenhagen.
Pairing soft oval forms with stark clean lines, the Earth Stool effortlessly complements interiors with a classic Scandinavian look.
