A striking pendant with a beautifully delicate, light expression, Uchiyama presented a design idea to Louis Poulsen which deconstructed the traditional chandelier concept into slim layers of concentric circles. Enigma, which stands for 'mystery', refers to how the slender shades appear to hover and float when viewed illuminated from a distance. A unique light source and highly decorative hanging feature, the contemporary pendant light creates a serene visual and atmospheric effect as it shapes and channels glare-free downward light.
