Japanese minimalism and Nordic functionality unite to form a contemporary and elegant barstool, available in two heights. Perfect for situating at a kitchen island, the comfortable footrest allows the user to take a long relaxing morning enjoying breakfast or the option to unwind in the evening with a drink at the home bar. Crafted from solid oak wood, the stool will age beautifully over time and the addition of an oil treatment ensures longlasting durability with a reduction in discolouration. Give the stool a new meaning by using as an exhibitive pedestal, a place to display a design object or sculpture; with clean graphic lines adding a minimalistic touch to any interior. Also available, the Kristina Dam Studio Japanese Dining Stool.
Danish designer Kristina Dam strongly believes in the use of honest, authentic and natural materials designed with simplicity and attitude.
Her love for architecture and graphic minimalism is at the forefront of all her designs. Graduating from The Royal Danish School of Fine Arts, Architecture and Design in Copenhagen, Dam consequently designed her first product - a series of graphic illustrations originating from her love for art and design, these quickly became a firm favourite with Scandinavian concept stores leading to the founding of her design studio in January 2012.
