Simplicity at its best, the Japanese Dining Stool combines practicality with a contemporary and elegant style. The perfect piece to supplement a modern a home, the petite size and clean graphic lines add a minimalistic touch, around the dining table, as an extra seat in a living space, or as a nightstand for a book and a cup of hot tea. High-quality craftsmanship using solid oak wood ensures the stool can age beautifully over time and the addition of an oil treatment helps to reduce discolouration, thus making the stool more durable. Also available the Kristina Dam Studio Bar Stool.
Danish designer Kristina Dam strongly believes in the use of honest, authentic and natural materials designed with simplicity and attitude.
Her love for architecture and graphic minimalism is at the forefront of all her designs. Graduating from The Royal Danish School of Fine Arts, Architecture and Design in Copenhagen, Dam consequently designed her first product - a series of graphic illustrations originating from her love for art and design, these quickly became a firm favourite with Scandinavian concept stores leading to the founding of her design studio in January 2012.
