Crafted from smooth silvery terracotta clay, the Large bowl boasts a gloss of glazed engobe, a water-resistant interior with a distinct contrast to the earthy external surface. Precisely imprinted with a band of texture enhancing stripes, allow your botanical display to take artistic focus. Part of a series of organically inspired contemporary pottery, each bowl is individual in character making them well-suited to varying situations within the home. Use to display indoor house plants, huddle in and amongst other ornamental design objects to create a point of sculptural interest on a windowsill or shelving system. Danish designer Kristina Dam strongly believes in the use of honest, authentic and natural materials designed with simplicity and attitude.
Her love for architecture and graphic minimalism is at the forefront of all her designs. Graduating from The Royal Danish School of Fine Arts, Architecture and Design in Copenhagen, Dam consequently designed her first product - a series of graphic illustrations originating from her love for art and design, these quickly became a firm favourite with Scandinavian concept stores leading to the founding of her design studio in January 2012.
