Lavish yet simple, Saarinen's masterpiece of modernism remains the standard by which all other dining tables are measured, with this configuration of his miraculous design suitable for outdoor use. A perennial favourite of connoisseurs of interiors and fine design, the Tulip is now the perfect platform for outdoor dining, with the generous oval-shaped table top allowing for a large number of guests to congregate collectively around it, for dining or collective entertaining. The lower section of the table is derived of heavy cast aluminium, with a layer of Rilsan helping to protect it from the elements, while the table top is of an acrylic stone.
