Developed from an unreleased sketch by celebrated Danish designer Louis Weisdorf, the Multi-Lite Wall Lamp realises a vision that remained unfinished, extending one of his most recognisable creations into a striking new wall-mounted form. True to the collection’s spirit, it invites interaction, transforming light into something personal, expressive and ever changing.
Expertly crafted in a selection of refined brass, chrome and classic black brass finishes, the wall light combines sculptural beauty with exceptional versatility. Twin rotating shades - lockable using a discreet blade mechanism, a pivoting inner ring and a 180-degree swing arm allow you to shape both its silhouette and illumination with ease. Whether framing a bed, enhancing a reading corner or bringing atmosphere to a hallway, the Multi-Lite Wall Lamp adapts effortlessly to your space and the way you live.
In his own words, the studio of Architect Louis Weisdorf (born 1939) "specializes in versatility". This quite perfectly sums up the long and notable career of this multi-designer. After graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' School of Architecture in 1954, Weisdorf worked with everything from graphic, interior and industrial design, to the planning of parks and recreational areas, as well as most fields within the building trade.
This adds to an already impressive resume of notable projects, which includes working under design icons such as Verner Panton, Poul Henningsen and Le Klint.
