Story
Designed in 1954 by Mathieu Mategot, this modular shelving system can be applied in numerous ways; ideal for all homes and spaces where that extra dimension of aesthetics for wall storage is sought for. The Demon Shelving system, or the Biblio-Démon as it is listed in Mategot's old sketches, was part of a “plan d’execution de la bibliothèque”, where Mategot strived to create a striking shelf system that created an atmosphere like that present in a library or grand study; suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors.
