Gabriella Crespi originally designed the Bohemian 72 collection from her terrace in Milan in 1972. Influenced by natural materials and sculptural forms, the Bohemian 72 Lounge Chair unites indoor and outdoor living, by evoking a sense of warmth similar to a long summer's evening. Lightweight and versatile the Lounge Chair is equally at home indoors, on a covered patio or placed outside on a summer's day.
Italian artist and designer Gabriella Crespi was best known for her extensive repertoire spanning furniture, jewellery and sculpture.
After studying Architecture at the Politecnico in Milan, Crespi established a creative relationship with various fashion houses, becoming a muse for Dior, Valentino, Versace and Givenchy. Her work incorporates lavish materials and streamlined forms and combines modernist functionality with baroque and bohemian details, infusing her work with a warm and sensuous feel.
