The Artemide Demetra Table Lamp, designed by Naoto Fukasawa, is reminiscent of the classic Tolomeo range, and features adjustable arms, a rotatable head and a stylish, modern silhouette. Winner of the Red Dot Design Award 2014 and iF Product Design Award 2014.

Aside from the aesthetic appeal of the Demetra Task Lamp, Artemide have focused on the functional and technological aspects which make this an outstanding piece. Touch dimmer sensitivity combined with energy-efficient LED technology ensure that the Demetra is contemporary and modern in more than just appearance. Available in anthracite grey or white.

Naoto Fukasawa

Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa was born in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan in 1956. He graduated from Tama Art University's product design department in Art and 3D design in 1980.

Fukasawa has worked with the world's leading design companies and furniture brands such Artemide, Magis and Maruni. His area of work is broad and he works with various fields in design beyond categories.

His contemporary lighting and modern furniture designs have won many international design awards including the Red Dot Design Award and iF Product Design Award for the Artemide Demetra Table Lamp in 2014.
