Frank Gehry

Frank Gehry is one of today's most important architects. He was born in Toronto, 1929. He studied urban planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and in 1962 he established the Frank Gehry & Associates architectural studio in Los Angeles. He has an extensive portfolio involving architectural projects and furniture design. His buildings include the Californian Aerospace Museum in LA, Vitra Design Museums in Weil am Rhein and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Spain. In 1994 he won the Pritzker architecture prize awarded by the Hyatt-Foundation.
