Finding inspiration in the traditional zen gardens of Japan, Los Angeles based designer AD Miller interprets the sweeping rake patterns into a striking rug design. Intending to stimulate meditation, the raking of a zen garden evokes feelings of peacefulness and serenity, with minimalist lines created through cuttings in the pile, the Kyoto rugs effortlessly reflect this. Available in three sizes and the Woud Kyoto Runner, each size comes with individual designs that suit the dimensions. Complementary to a range of settings, the soft grey tones of the rug enhance the calming appearance.
