Materials & finishes
Lampshade made from shoji paper with bamboo ribbing. Painted steel wire frame. Black cable. Supplied with a flat Euro 2-pin (type C plug) with a 3-Pin UK adaptor.

Bulb (not included)
All Akari lamps have an E27/230V screw base. We recommend the use of max. 12W LED Bulb with a 2700K light colour.

IP20 rated.

Standard Delivery
Small/medium, non-fragile items are delivered by DPD. DPD deliveries are trackable at every stage and will be delivered to your door between Monday and Friday.

Large items, fragile small/medium items under 20kg in weight that require extra protection on delivery will be delivered by our trusted delivery partners Atlas of London or Smart Van. They will contact you to arrange a suitable time (between Monday and Friday) to deliver your order (curbside delivery only).

White-glove delivery
‘White-glove delivery’ is our recommended service for all large items that require assembly and packaging removal.

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you, if required all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Installation is not available for lighting products or wall-mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Story

Inspired by his ancestral home, Noguchi adopted the traditional paper manufacturing techniques of the town of Gifu. The delicacy of form and practical nature of the lamp is mirrored in the name ‘akari’ meaning ‘light’ in Japanese.
