Based on a simple, almost hand-drawn shape, the Valerie Objects Standing Lamp Marble No.2 has a playful arched shape that gracefully illuminates the surrounding space. Leaping from a conical marble base, the colourful stem is eye-catching yet unobtrusive, gently suspending the circular glass shade over your furnishings. The shape of the shade mirrors that of the base, adding a harmonious touch of symmetry to the piece.
Combining the talents of both Fien Muller and Hannes van Severen, Muller van Severen was founded in 2011.
A creative husband and wife collaboration, identified by their iconic furniture family for Valerie Objects and colourful collaboration with HAY. The pair describe their minimalist, material-driven designs as “landscapes for living” and new ways to proficiently utilise space.
Currently working from a greenhouse-turned-home studio in Ghent, Belgium, they have designed contemporary furniture, designer lighting and even cutlery.
