Envisioned as a manifestation of a simple, playful drawing, the Valerie Objects Standing Lamp Marble No.1 uses colour to great effect, brightening your interiors with a vibrant pop of colour.
The standing lamp is composed of a single fluid line, trailing up from the cone-shaped marble base to the graceful shade hanging from the arm. The shade’s shape mirrors that of the base, giving the whole piece a pleasing symmetry. Shielding a mirrored LED bulb, the glass shade casts a warm glow across your space, tastefully illuminating your surroundings.
Combining the talents of both Fien Muller and Hannes van Severen, Muller van Severen was founded in 2011.
A creative husband and wife collaboration, identified by their iconic furniture family for Valerie Objects and colourful collaboration with HAY. The pair describe their minimalist, material-driven designs as “landscapes for living” and new ways to proficiently utilise space.
Currently working from a greenhouse-turned-home studio in Ghent, Belgium, they have designed contemporary furniture, designer lighting and even cutlery.
