Perfectly paired with a dining or outdoor cafe table, the Alu Chair has been developed to become suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its striking appearance has been constructed from a natural aluminium frame, manually distressed to create an industrial aesthetic. Topped with a bright coloured seat and backrest, the chair is an uplifting addition to a modern space. Providing the utmost comfort whilst being extremely lightweight for easy storage, the Alu Chair has been designed to adapt to indoor and outdoor areas over time.
Combining the talents of both Fien Muller and Hannes van Severen, Muller van Severen was founded in 2011.
A creative husband and wife collaboration, identified by their iconic furniture family for Valerie Objects and colourful collaboration with HAY. The pair describe their minimalist, material-driven designs as “landscapes for living” and new ways to proficiently utilise space.
Currently working from a greenhouse-turned-home studio in Ghent, Belgium, they have designed contemporary furniture, designer lighting and even cutlery.
